Musicians and Political Viewpoints... Who cares?

Let me sum this up.

When I receive multiple newsletters from musicians expressing their political opinions I get quite frustrated.

Do you want to know why? Cause I don't care.

It is not that I do not care about politics; it’s just that I don't care about other people's politics, especially musicians.
I wish there was a check box that I could have checked when I signed up for the newsletter that read: "Do Not Send Me Political Views".

I signed up to hear about music news, fool!

I would have had no problem with you saying you had some gig at "so and so's" rally, I could have easily let that one slide. I am referring to the newsletter blast that screams "Hello, I am Mr. Politics, vote for Jimmy!”.

Please stop... or just give me the check box that says "Do Not Send Me Political Views".
