Yes I am.

 The last couple of evenings I have been working on Issue 16. I hope to have another draft out soon. I also added a "music I like" section. This is just a place for me to list some of my favorites. If you have any other suggestions that I might like let me know.

Sometimes it hard to express things that you need to by conversation alone. This is especially true for me when it comes to matters of the heart. The subject of this piece is someone who I love, respect and hold dear. Not only is she the mother of my child, my best friend, and the person I chose to spend the rest of my life with, but she also exist independently as a true artist, imaginative thinker and creative soul.If you haven't guessed I am speaking about my wife.The following is dedicated, written for and representative of what she means to me and those who love her.

It is generally a fact that you can find yourself listening to phrases of music over and over again when recording or writing music. This weekend I had the special opportunity to do that in my car with my son. I am not quite sure who exactly dubbed Issue 16, the spider song, but considering my son usually gets what he wants, to a point, it now goes by that name in the "back alley" world of the three year olds and you shall not stop it or turn it down.

Though I would like to imagine that the music was so interesting to him that nothing could sway his attention the fact remains that the word spider can do wonders for anything at this stage in his life. Spider Song, I mean Issue 16, is littered with fast moving double bass drums and the delicious and an obvious classic 80's style keyboard semi-melodic melody. The end of the clip is the most fascinating to me because it foretells a definite intro into the zany world of irregulars. There are a lot of abrupt changes right now so as usual let us just use our imagination as to how this may end up.

We have recently been working on the lyrics. Though we discussed the fact that the line "Millions of spiders in your hair" may be a bit much, at the end of the day I was digging it.

Issue_15 is causing me trouble. I think more or less I have been in the mood to do a bit more "mixing the right way". The right way is not turning out to be right and I am getting the feeling I should leave well enough alone. I did however get a thumbs up from the wife on how it sounds and she has commented that it might be one of her favorites. As well, it may turn into something other than an "Issue". It has the potential to become some other type of composition type for me... I might even give it a name. I've exported the rough film for Issue_10.
